With most people running around with some form of smartphone these days it is no wonder that the latest technology to be used for food allergies is coming in the form of an app!
A new Allergy & Gluten-Free Scanner by "Fooducate" is a new app that can scan a product's bar code at the grocery store and tell you exactly what's in it and any allergies you may not know were associated with the product.
Users can also learn about controversial preservatives and additives, hidden trans-fats, and excessive amounts of sodium and sugars that may be in the item they want to buy.
